We congratulate you on your engagement and thank you for your decision to consider celebrating the sacrament of marriage at St. Colman Church.

  • What do we need to do first?

    Contact the Church's office to request the package for marriage and inquire about a date. The wedding date must be more than six months away.

  • Meet with Your Priest or Deacon

    This should be done as soon as possible, as the priest or deacon will accompany you throughout your engagement. The priest or deacon will determine your freedom to marry and explain the marriage preparation process. This meeting would ideally be six months (or more) before the wedding date.


  • Standard Cost

  • What time do you offer for weddings?

    If you are wanting to have a Saturday wedding, we currently offer two times 12:00 and 2:00. 

    If you are looking for a Friday wedding you are encouraged to call the office, we are looking to accommodate all request.

     

  • When do we schedule a rehearsal?

    Wedding rehearsals, are scheduled one to two days before the wedding. And will last about an hour.  Please make sure the wedding party and parents are present.


    Additional flowers may be placed on the altar, and white bows may be placed on the end of the church pews. Other decorations are permitted, with permission. 



  • Music

    Rosie Toth is our music ministry director and is available to hire. Additional, the we also allows you to bring in outside musicians to join for your big day.

Wedding Coordinator

St. Colman is excited to host your wedding. We offer a wedding coordinator she will assists couples planning their wedding within the  Church, helping them navigate the specific ceremonial, and organizational requirements for your ceremony. 


With that being said you are always welcomed to bring your own day-of-planner also.
